What are your hobbies?

I have so many, I’ll probably forget a few, but:

Model rockets
Music composition (more of a calling)
Music conducting (ditto)

Snorkelling
Cooking

Ooo!

All kinds of games, board & otherwise

Chess
Crosswords
Cooking (hobby/necessity. I do it for fun, relaxation and sustenance.)

Bygone hobbies. . .flute, running, poker.

I just got in from a pleasant round of golf at a charity outing. So, yeah golf. Mainly for the exercise (I walk, don’t ride), cameraderie and challenge.
Reading.
Bicycling.
Pretending to garden/landscape.
My workout - weights and elliptical machine mostly.
Cooking and eating…
Seeing live music

Motorbiking
Amateur black and white film photography (darkroom stuff)
Road running
Cycling
Reading

That’s a depressingly short list for someone who spends their life very bored, but work’s pretty fun (high school lab tech) which makes up for it.

Cooking. I LOVE food!
Cross-stitch (a type of needlework/sewing. I don’t like any other kind of sewing though.)
Rollerblading
And a recent addition, kayaking

When does cooking cross over from being a household chore to a hobby? My guess is that when you start reading cookbooks to relax, it becomes a hobby.

Aw crap, I forgot one–sailing. Although I don’t do it much anymore.

  3. I perform improv and sketch comedy.

Reading
Writing
Random wandering around within a certain radius of my home–I have to do it on foot, so I don’t go far. Had I a car, this hobby would turn from walking around to driving around.
Shopping
Playing around on the internet
Board games, especially Scrabble and Monopoly
Cooking, though I’m still not very good at it
Singing
Washing dishes (I find it so relaxing I could consider it a hobby, I suppose)
Swimming
Talking about anything that comes into my head
Napping
Trying to find other hobbies, especially a physical activity that will hold my interest and not get me injured. This has been a fruitless quest and I’m out of ideas.

Damn, I am really boring, especially compared to you people.

Things I do actively:
Rowing
Coaching
Tutoring ESL
Studying Japanese
Reading/collecting Japanese manga
Fanfic
Reading about health topics and life extension
Shoes/fashion

Way down on the priority list but things I’m still interested in:
Piano

Running
Vegetarian cooking
Um, there must be more but that’s all I can think of…
