What are your (possibly quirky) requirements in bed? (No, this isn't about sex.)

Here’s my thread from a couple of years ago about sleeping with your mobile phone in the bed.

Now now, get your mind out of the gutter, this is the SDMB, not one of those types of websites. As a spin-off from the alarm clock thread, I thought I’d see how I unique I am since I not only always have my iPhone in bed, I also have my iPad in bed with me and I’m using one or both devices until I fall asleep I’m single, as you may have guessed! If I do have a FWB in bed with me overnight, the iPad usually goes on a nightstand but I’ll always have the phone next to me once it’s time for sleep …

Temperature is anything comfortable. I’ve got a friend who has stayed over a few times but he puts the apartment into absolute deep freeze. Drives me crazy and I end up having to put on a hoodie.

I have to wear some clothes to sleep in, maybe it’s all the years of having roommates or family that didn’t respect privacy.

I prefer flannel sheets and usually use them mid-September until May.

I will always listen or watch something before bedtime. I don’t have a TV in the bedroom because I have the iPad. Occasionally I’ll steam music and read before bed as well.
