What are your shows?

Let’s see here:

Gilmore Girls
Family Guy
Battlestar Galactica
This Old House (and all of it’s children)
Dirty Jobs
Grey’s Anatomy
The West Wing (up until a couple of weeks ago, that is).

This is pretty much all of them.
Yankees Games (MLB)
My Name is Earl
Sopranos
Simpsons
South Park
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report
Dr Who (the new ones on the Sci-Fi channel)
Myth Busters
NY Giants Games (NFL)
I occasionally watch Nets, Knicks, Family Guy, Boston Legal & SNL. Movies on TCM or from NetFlix. I am catching repeats of Soap on Tubetime.

Jim

I don’t have any new shows that I’m all that keen on except for maybe the new Doctor Who. (A few years ago I also watched most of the old ones from Tom Baker forward on PBS.) Is there anything new worth watching now besides maybe Dr. Who? I haven’t seen anything up to the level of Buffy, or Babylon 5, or The X-Files.

I tivo Friends and Will & Grace a bit but don’t follow them. I Tivo’ed all the way through Buffy (twice), DS9 (twice), Babylon 5, and Lexx. I haven’t had much to watch for about 2 years now. I skip through late-night shows and I Tivo ABC World News Now.

Almost everything I’ll watch is on Food Network.
Everyday Italian, Emeril, Good Eats…hell, you name it and I’ll probably watch it. I am totally fascinated by Iron Chef.
I like to watch the Colbert Report, but I’m usually on the phone with the SO. I can’t do two things at once so I turn off the tv.

Prison Break
My Name is Earl
Scrubs
Mythbusters
Family Guy
Hi-Def Sharks & 49ers
Hi-Def anything else

24
The Dead Zone
Monk
Veronica Mars (albeit inattentively, as I usually a bunch of tasks in the background)
*Lost * (again, not so attentively)
The Apprentice
and the late, lamented Justice League Unlimited

For a while, American Inventor was on that list, but I eventually found myself fast-forwarding through much of the fluff.

I don’t really watch TV so much anymore, but for a while it was Sports Night, then Carnivale. Both RIP. :frowning:

Well here’s my list, sorted by day of week:

Monday:
King of Queens
How I Met Your Mother
Prison Break
Apprentice

Tuesday:
Amazing Race

Wednesday:
Lost

Thursday:
Survivor
CSI
The Office
ER
Holmes on Homes

Friday:
Nothing

Saturday:
Nothing

Sunday:
Sopranos
Big Love
Deadwood
Rome

Man I watch a lot of TV!!

MtM

Monday - Medium

Tuesday - American Idol, House

Wednesday - Top Chef

Thursday - CSI

Friday - Ghost Whisperer, Numbers

Saturday - hopefully a Bonanza marathon

Sunday - Extreme Makeover, Home Edition and Iron Chef America

There’s always other filler things like What Not To Wear, House Hunters, etc. - and there’s usually a council meeting on Monday and Planning Commission on Tuesday to yell at the TV about…but the above is about it.

The shows I’m passionate about are:

Veronica Mars
Project Runway
Amazing Race

Other shows I love:

Supernatural
24
Dr. Who

Other shows I enjoy:

Cold Case
Desperate Housewives
Numb3rs
Earl
AI (though I always regret it)

Whenever Law & Order, Sopranos, Simpsons and maybe a few others, have new DVD releases I will watch them. I haven’t had TV in over 5 years tho so I only watch DVD stuff. In a bar I tend to watch commercials. When you’ve never seen them, they tend to be funny/interesting a time or two.

The only show I make a point to watch is 24. Can’t miss the Power Hour.

Otherwise, I’ll try to catch Scrubs and Mythbusters when they’re on, along with TDS. Not that I don’t like TV, I’m too lazy to keep track of what’s on when, and I always end up discovering shows way after everyone else- I started watching ER last year.

I record
How I met your mother
Scrubs
My Name Is Earl
The Office

Apointment:
The Office
Battlestar Gallactica
Grey’s Anatomy

Try to Catch:
Law & Order SVU

The Colbert Report
The Daily Show

Avoid like Poison
Fear Factor
American Idol
The Apprentice

Own
Arrested Development
Buffy
Angel
Firefly
Futurama
Chappelle Show
Band of Brothers

Well, there are shows I like, but don’t really go out of my way to watch or tape. Those, I don’t count as “my” shows.

“My” shows are:

NCIS
Criminal Minds
Survivor
The Amazing Race
My Name is Earl
CSI (original flavor)
(used to include The West Wing…:sniff:)

Shows that almost make the list:
Countdown with Keith Olbermann
Good Eats
Mythbusters

Disclaimer: We refuse to subscribe to HBO, so I know that we’re missing some highly-praised series. Oh well - allows me to have a life sometimes.

Everything is Tivoed at our place, but we regularly watch live:

How I Met Your Mother
Scrubs
Lost
Battlestar Galactica
Las Vegas
A big hunk of the Food Channel

Every Dodgers, Red Sox, Padres or Cubs game on.

Other than that, it’s kinda spotty. I record Conquest, Mail Call, Wings, Coach, Night Court and a bunch of other stuff TVLand has on at 3am.

Trailer Park Boys
Penn & Teller’s Bullshit
Family Guy
Apprentice
Ultimate Fighter
America’s Next Top Model
Project Runway
