What are your shows?

**Boston Legal
Star Trek **(all series except for Enterprise and Voyager)
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (on Travel Channel)
Battlestar Galactica (currently in major withdrawals)
House (it’s growing on me, not exactly hooked yet)

If I’m still breathing: Mythbusters, Inuyasha, Cold Case, Disaster Detectives

if someone else is watching it: Law & Order, House, CSI: Improbable Occurances in Large American City, Iron Chef, South Park, and Lost (if it’s particularily interesting, or if I can annoy my brother with commentary :D)

and if I can stay awake that late: The Daily Show and The Colbert Report

This list is facinating. There’s a small group of shows almost everyone watches, but the outliers are the best.
Oh, I was going to put a :o next to Inuyasha, but hell, nobody else is putting one next to CSI, so screw it.

I’d be disapointed to miss:

My name is Earl
Everybody hates Chris
Medium
Cold Case
Scrubs
The 4400
The Dead Zone

Does anyone know when these last two will be back (I know sometime this summer, but not which month)?

If there’s nothing else to do, I’ll watch all the versions of Law and Order, American Idol, Monk, The Office, various Adult Swim shows.

Mythbusters
Penn And Teller’s Bullshit
Monk
Kim Possible
Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad

Democracy Now-
Sixty Minutes
First month of American Idol
Deadwood
Sopranos
Daly and Cobert
Any comedian on hbo
Mythbusters
Bullshit
Jeopardy

Local and national news, whether I need it or not.
Sopranos
Deadwood (can’t wait for it to return!)
Big Love (not enthusiastically)
Reruns of Six Feet Under on HBO2 right now. I have the entire series on tape.
Amazing Race
House
ER (but not enthusiastically, more like a bad habit)
Good Eats

It seems like I’m always in front of the TV, but browsing. I like some Animal Planet shows, like K-9 to 5 when I catch them (I make the dog watch and point and say, “See, that dog has a job! Why don’t you go get one?”). Animal Precinct is depressing and makes me mad at humans. I try to make a point of watching TCM when a film is on I haven’t seen yet. And CNBC after I come home from work to catch up on the markets. But those aren’t “my shows,” just stuff I happen to watch.

My work schedule is rarely constant (retail) so I don’t have any shows I always watch. Actually, that’s not true. I watch Sherlock Holmes on Sunday nights.

Other than that:

If my days off fall on weekdays, I watch BBC America - Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearences, My Family, My Hero . EVen though I only see 2 episodes a week at most, these shows still make me laugh and are easy to keep up with. Too many American shows require constant vigilance to follow.

Otherwise, I watch a lot of reruns, and they vary depending on how early or late I have to be at work.
**Law and Order ** (original and SVU only), Charmed (up 'til the last 2 seasons), CSI (original only), **SG1, Twilight Zone, X Files ** . If there’s a really bad movie on SciFi, I will watch it.

If there are no reruns or really bad movies that I want to see, I watch my DVD’s: Red Dwarf, Captain Scarlet, The Thunderbirds, B5, Family Guy, old black and white horror movies, or I get something from On Demand.

24
The Shield
Lost
CSI
Stargate: SG1
Stargate: Atlantis
Deadwood

I tell people I only have a TV for the news, the soaps and The Simpsons.

I also like Cold Case, NCIS, Criminal Minds and more recently House.
