Putting in a concrete driveway and a concrete pad behind my house big enough for a patio and shed.
Merging roughly 120,000 new employees in with our existing 170,000 or so employees.
OK, so I’m not doing this single-handedly, but it has kept me very busy for the past few months.
My boyfriend and I decided to get married last week! It was euphoric until we realized how much work and money a wedding is going to be. (Actually, it’s still euphoric. Just tinged with hysteria.)
My big projects are currently:
Our wedding coming up quickly on April 25th - it’s incredible how wedding planning is a flurry at the start, then a whole lot of quiet, then insanity right at the end. I understand now why people run off to Vegas, but this is going to be a fun party and I’m looking forward to seeing so many of my friends and family.
Selling this townhouse so we can move into the new place we just got and not have to be paying 2 mortgages. Keeping it super clean is a huge headache, especially in the midst of the wedding crunch.
Then, once we move to the new place, we have painting and fixing-up and all the fun that comes with moving to a new place and figuring out where all your stuff should go.
I have a half dozen personal projects I want to get started on but there hasn’t been time.
Saving for Disneyworld. Trying to work out the logistics of how we’re going to take three adults (+ luggage) in a Toyota Yaris.
Once we’ve reached out savings goal, remodeling our house from one end to the other. Starting with the rear bathroom.
