I’m reading The Reach from Stephen King’s short story collection Skeleton Crew. The line “Do you love?” is used several times in the story. It sounds very familiar, but given the nature of the line Google is of no help. Do any of you recall reading the line in another novel or short story, or possibly even from a movie or TV show?
I thought it was from a record, but I’ll be durned if I remember exactly.
It is used in other stories in the same collection - IIRC, Nona, and The Raft.
