Hey Chief

Is that Jimmy Page/Black Crows album a studio release, or is it a bootleg? I love everything Zep. The best concert I ever saw was Page/Plant live in Toronto.

Coldfire:
You seem to like a lot of Canadian Bands. I currently have Triptych in my CD player at work.
Have you ever heard of the Tragically Hip? They are probably one of the best Canadian Bands out there.

Scoobysnax

Save water drink beer!

The Hip don’t really do it for me, I’m afraid. Also, the fact that I like Rush and the Tea Party does not mean that I love Canadian bands per se

I mean, even though I am obsessed with CanadianSue, MoosieGirl and mega the roo doesn’t mean I’ll run after ANY Canuck chick

Lately -

Black47 - Trouble in the Land & Live in NYC.
Seanchai - Rebel Hip Hop
Paddy-A-GoGo - Keep it Reel

The Sleeper has AWAKEN!

Marcy Playground (does this album have a title?)
Bush - Razorblade Suitcase
Duran Duran - Seven and the Ragged Tiger :o
Lemonheads - Hate Your Friends

Ever since the “hippie chick” thread over in
GQ, I have been listening to Soho’s Goddess. Not worth listening to over and over, but that is what I have been doing.

I am going to switch over to my Otis Redding so maybe I can answer the R-E-S-P-E-C-T question over there…

“If our lives are indeed the sum-total of the choices we’ve made, then we cannot change who we are; but with every new choice we’re given, we can change who we’re going to be.”

I suppose this is as good a place as any to start posting…

In the car so far this week:

Steely Dan - Two Against Nature
John Cale - Fragments Of A Rainy Season
Radiohead - OK Computer
Tom Waits - Mule Variations
Tom Waits - Raindogs
Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There
Miles Davis - Jack Johnson
Manic Street Preachers - This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours

KarmaComa asked when the new Radiohead album is out. I’ve heard that it will be in the autumn - September, maybe. They’re doing a small tour of Europe this summer, before releasing it. I tried to get tickets for the gig they’re playing at the Royal Festival Hall as part of this year’s Meltdown Festival, but it had sold out by the time I got through (only 35 minutes after going on sale).

The CD I’ve been listening to the most in the past couple of weeks is the Smashing Pumpkins’ “Machina: Machines of God.”

Neil

In the stereo right now are:

Live - Secret Samadhi
Collective Soul - Collective Soul
Buckcherry - Buckcherry
AC/DC - Back in Black
Rush - Rush

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult

I’ve been listening to ALOT of Days of The New - Days of The New 2, some Blink-182, some TMBG - Flood, and a smidge of Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit.
