What celebrities are homosexual, but are often thought not to be?

hangs head in shame

sorry

Actually, my response was “Woah…that’s hot.” I had exactly the same reaction to the news that Jorja Fox was gay.

I submit that this is exactly appropriate.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA.

You rock.

Speaking of which, I’ve spent the day with Dwayne Johnson ( The Rock ). My gaydar didn’t even twitch.

I spent about 25 minutes with Anderson Cooper and my gaydar rang like a fuckin’ bell on a cold clear night.

Cartooniverse

Here’s my take on the famous & gay website; I learned where the Merchant Ivory film company got its name. Good to know. I learned that if you’re at all well-known and Dutch, you’re probably gay. How is it they make more Dutch people at all? Is IVF booming over there or what?

I was horrified at two things, however; one is that my deep need for designer jeans in 1983 helped put Anderson Cooper through Yale, and B) it’s really wrong to say whether or not ANYONE has HIV/AIDS in a public forum like the Web. What if you’re wrong? Regardless, who’s damn business is it anyway?? It isn’t like they’re ‘protecting’ anyone from being infected by a living and possibly positive celeb with this website.

Outing someone as gay is one unsettling thing; announcing their possible HIV/Aids status is quite another, no?

No way!!

That page wouldn’t load for me. :frowning:

Shoot!!

You spent the day with The Rock???

I could stare at that man all day and, sadly, that’s probably what I’d do if I were offered a chance to spend 24 hours with him. Just. Stare.

Details!! We need details!!

[sub]Ok, just a few, cuz I don’t want to majorly hijack this thread.[/sub]

And in relation to the actual OP, :smack: , it’s long been talked about that retired NHLer Wendel Clark is gay. He was here in Detroit for about a season and the rumors flew. Doesn’t mean they’re at all substantial, of course, but fly they did.

E-mail me. I’ll tell all.

Heh.

Gay schmay, what weirds me out is that he’s English.

Oh, lord, not this again. While he was out as gay, the watersports-with-the-16-year-old thing was a joke he made to (IIRC) Matthew Hays at a party, and came to the attention of the people at Maclean’s, who reported it as fact.

I can think of nowhere appropriate to put this, but this is a surprising fact so:

Webcomic reveals that god doesn’t hate gay people:

Well there have been rumors flying about Kevin Spacey for quite some time. Wandering around in a park in London that is reputed to be a hang-out for gay men late at night doesn’t help.

There were a lot of stories about him floating around Dublin when he was there filming Ordinary Decent Criminal.

All rumors though so who knows.

Some I have heard:

Kevin Spacey
Benjamin MacKenzie from the OC
Anderson Cooper

Anderson Cooper is out, although he doesn’t make a big deal about it (or, indeed, mention it at all most of the time).

Where’d you hear rumors about Benjamin MacKenzie? I’m a huge O.C. fan and I’ve never heard that.

Well, he was spotted at a gay bar for a publicity thing.

That may or may not mean anything. The article doesn’t say if he goes there in his spare time or not.

Alright, I’m hijacking this thread.

Where did the Merchant & Ivory Film Company get it’s name from?
[/hijack]
One that surprised me: Graham Chapman. You know. King Arthur and Bryan, the Messiah.

I was quite shocked.

I mean, I saw his pee pee on the Big Screen.

I was quite a moment for me.

The man that Kevin Smith was referring to is rumored to be Vin Diesel, and I’ve seen the rumor from other sources as well.

Producer Ismael Merchant and director James Ivory.

If “Ismail Merchant” as the name of an Indian seems confusing – It’s not uncommon in Bombay’s Parsi (Zoroastrian) community to have English occupational names as family names – Merchant, Shipchandler, Symkhanawallah, Screwalla, Sodabottleopenerwala, etc. Many Parsi families didn’t start using family names until after contact with the English.

That should be “Gymkhanawallah.”
