Mine’s “Steel Blue” a sort of chromatic grayish-blue (or is that bluish-gray), depending on how the light hits it, it looks either gray or blue, or somewhere inbetween
My Xterra is olive green. Nissan, however calls the colour Canteen.
Incidentally, the other car I was considering at the same time was Black Sand Pearl. Yeah, it was black.
I thought our Mazda 3 was just black. However, it is actually Black Mica.
OoooooooOOOOOoooooooOOOOooo.
Oh, yeah, and for a while, I wanted to get a Vespa in Daring Plum. But they discontinued the colour.
I have a teal 1995 Nissan Sentra. My 1988 Toyota Corolla that preceded it was navy blue.
1995 Maxima in “Sonoma Sunset Metallic,” a very dark, almost grayish black eggplant kind of color.
You know, I’ve always had trouble with labeling what color my car is. I always say it’s a dark Teal Blue, but people laugh and say, 'it’s just blue." But it’s not! It’s not blue! It’s…different. So I actually investigated on the Toyota website and discovered my car is…Indigo Ink Pearl! With Pebble Beige interior.
I love the look on people’s faces when I say my car is indigo ink pearl.
Toreador Red.
It’s a dark red with a charcoal interior.
My car is a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. It’s light blue.
Apparently mine is officially “Evergreen green”. Redundant much?
1999 Jeep Cherokee: Deep Amethyst (dark purple), grey interior
1963 triumph Herald 1200: Red, black interior
1966 MGB: Old English White (ivory), red interior
Metallic Red. But my Toyota pickup that has served me for almost 9 troublefree years is going to a wrecking yard soon. I was rear ended on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, a kid in a Jeep Cherokee tried to squeeze between me and a lady in an Acura SUV just as I was slowing down due to traffic. The Acura lady hit the Jeep and both hit me. The damage isn’t real severe, a bent tailgate, broken tail light and some other assorted dents. Since the accident till a few weeks ago, I have been going back and forth between the insurance companies of the other drivers, finally the insurance company for the Acura lady has accepted responsibility. They have totalled my truck and made a first extremely low offer. I was ready and countered with what I considered a fair offer, they came real close so I accepted. I’m just waiting for the check, I have my eye on a dark blue 2003 Ford F-150 at a local Ford dealer.
Phantom
(black)
Two-tone dirt and mud. When you wash it, it is a grayish, brownish olive green that Jeep calls “Champagne”. I will never go to their New Year’s Party.
Kia says it’s gun-metal blue.
I think it looks medium gray.
2001 Subaru Impreza wagon. Blue Ridge Pearl to the marketing types, dark blue metallic to anyone else.
Here’s one just like my baby. It’s old but it’s mine and I’ll keep it until it dies. Mind you, these things keep their value! I bought it used for less than double what they’re selling it for now. And mine’s got way less mileage.
It’s white with some black trim and a bit of orange on its model name.
Black Sapphire.
