My wife and I frequently discuss my eye colour, as it can’t quite seem to be pin-pointed. I have always stated “hazel” as my colour, but it really isn’t we think.
I have posted a few photos of my eye, but I don’t have a great camera. I took the photos with the best lighting possible. I also have noticed a minor red splotch in the right(if you are looking at it) side of the pupil. Weird?
I’m an idiot by the way. It’s obviously my LEFT eye.

You have a lot of colors going on there. It looks to me like you have a blue base with yellow in varying intensities laid over it. That leads to a very small amount of blue, about half greenish and half yellow. There is really no one color that can accurately describe it if you ask me but I suspect the further you are away the closer they look to greenish.
Hm. Hazel is light brown, like a hazel nut. I can’t really classify the colour of your eyes. Yellow-grey?
They look like they’re brown in the middle with a green ring around them, and that’s hazel in my book, pardner.

My eyes are virtually identical to yours (in terms of colour, at least), and I’ve always described them, and had them described, as “hazel”. There’s really too much yellow in them for “green”, and too much green for “brown”.

After taking 7 large samples of your iris, I lined them up in photoshop, and averaged the color into this strip:
Then, after bringing up the color in the colorpicker, we get this data:
That’s about as objective as I can get. But if you were to ask me, I’d say it’s a lovely shade of mung.
where I come from this colour would be called “miel” … thats “honey-colored”

You know, if I stare at your eye in this picture for a little while, it looks like your pupil is dilating. Like, whoa, dude.
I say your eye color is green. OK it’s got a bit of yellow (“gold”) in it but that’s probably just 'cause you’re turning into a werewolf, albeit possibly very slowly over the course of your life, which will end in a hairy, howling disaster involving silver.

I have to admit – you have fascinating eyes! I’ve never really looked that closely at eyeballs until this thread.

My eyes are basically the same. People have told me they are green, brown, or hazel.
I’m colorblind myself, so I couldn’t say.
could be as simple as a burst blood vessel. Those don’t “heal” but neither do they cause harm. If you’re really concerned about it - see an optomotrist
