What countries have you been to?

Mexico
Israel
China
Peru

not listed: Costa Rica

UK
Spain
Portugal

Other: Luxembourg

I think with former countries you should count which of the current countries’ territory you have visited. For example, if you visited the Soviet Union, and stayed in Moscow, Leningrad and Kiev, count that as visiting Russia and the Ukraine.

Someone’s going to have to link to this eventually.

I’m - so far - the only visitor to Iran. I went there the year before the Shah was removed. I travelled all over the country, mainly camping or staying in people’s homes. Wonderful trip.

I’m sorry Giles. I’ve joined you in Sri Lanka.

My others include Barbados and St Lucia. And I missed out on Mexico.

So far, I am the only one with North Korea (and it was Pyongyang, not cheating at the DMZ border).

Sorry, NineToTheSky - I was in Iran in 1998 for about a month.

Hey - I was in uniform, and crossed to the other side of the negotiating table. I glared menacingly at the North Korean guard, then smiled and stuck out my tongue.

It counts. I got a picture of me in North Korea too!

(OK - you have the bigger visit - but it was pretty fun for me)
