I am most surprised that besides me, 2 others have been to DR Congo (more visitors then Nepal and Saudi which is shocking). I was there on holiday (but I’m weird)… what were others doing?

Which reminds me of the little old lady who was born in St Petersburg, grew up in Petrograd, spent most of here adult life in Leningrad and eventually found herself living in St Petersburg again and she lived in the same flat all the time.

The Czech and Slovak Socialist Republics were created in 1969. Does this predate your visit?
It seems that neither the (independent) Czech or Slovak republics sought recognition as the successor state of Czechoslovakia. This surprised me as I thought the Czech Republic was recognized as such. So saying that the Czech Republic “was called Czechoslovakia at the time” is in fact technically inaccurate. I don’t mind though.

It is high on my list - second highest in Africa after Algeria.
Where are the “L” countries? I’ve been to Liechtenstein and Lebanon.
Also Bahrain, Oman and the Cayman Islands.
Aruba, on top of the ones I voted for. Just back on Sunday. Can’t wait to return, but I may check out more of the Caribbean first.
