Myself, I was there after 1969 and before 1990, and all I can tell you is the whole kaboodle was called Czechoslovakia by all and sundry and considered one country. This is the first I’ve seen that it was two separate countries before the fall of communism.

Not two separate countries. A federal country. But the “Czech republic” and “Slovakia” did exist starting in 1969 and had their own governments, which were subordinate to the federal government until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia.

I listed 6 plus “other,” which was Luxembourg. I’ve also passed through Germany and England, but they don’t count. I’m not sure Mexico should count, as I was only two or three years old, but I was there.

I forgot to check UK and, strangely, the list omitted both Norway and Denmark, each of which I have also been in (Denmark for a few months). Also I have been in Barbados for two or three weeks each for ten consecutive years. Oh, and I forgot to check the US.

I didn’t check it, but I sorta invaded Iran once.

I’ve only been to Australia and Kazakhstan. I find it funny that I’ve managed to go halfway around the world twice but have never made it to Canada or Mexico, two of our closest neighbors.

I’m not sure if I should have included Azerbaijan in my vote. I was there but only on a technicality - I was actually in Nagorno-Karabagh, which is de facto independent.
