I will note that some couples use lube as a substitute for proper foreplay.
Also, some women are incapable of generating adequate natural lubrication if they’re either on birth control pills or dehydrated.
When my girlfriend had a radical hysterectomy she was a bit dry for the first month or so, we didn't know if it would go back to normal or not. I certainly won't judge those that do find lube neccessary. Back in the early 70's slippery body lubes that were washable and would not stain were pretty popular. With snail slime once you work up a bit of a sweat your entire body or at least the part you have lubed up becomes very slippery, you can dry off with a towel or air dry and it will go right back to being slippery when you work up a sweat again.
