Whoohoo… I hate waiting in long lines!
well, the whole rapture thing is a bit hazy – all of the “end-times” stuff is hazy. IMO, that’s the whole point! The Bible says specifically that we won’t know the day or hour, and pretty much everything else about the end of the world as we know it is allegory – and allegory can be interpreted in a million different ways, which is why there’s all sorts of in-fighting about how it’s going to happen.
I’m a Christian and all, but I don’t waste my time worrying about how it’s going to end. I figure that the Bible purposely leaves it vague, and that there won’t be anything I can do to change however God decides to do it, so why bother? I’ll either be here and see it happen, or I won’t. I don’t feel the need to have a theory. I pretty much feel the same way about the whole evolution/creation thing: look, I’m here now, and how I got here is pretty much immaterial. All that matters is how I live my life, not if I have the “right” theory about how this or that happened/will happen.
