Today was simple and fast - Honey Bunches of Oats cereal and some pineapple. Yesterday morning, we went to Cracker Barrel. There, I had scrambled eggs with cheese, 3 strips of bacon, hasbrown casserole, fried apples, 2 biscuits with jam, and grits, plus two cups of decaf (I’m pregnant). That was great!
Tomorrow it will be three scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon bits (real bacon), one piece of toast (probably with blackberry jam), some pineapple, and a biiiiiiiiiiig glass of milk. I eat the same thing for breakfast pretty much every day. However, sometimes I drink juice and eat yogurt instead of milk and fruit.
For openers: 3 Advil washed down with a Red Bull, then a quart of ice tea.
Post-golf brunch: grilled ham, egg and cheese stacked within a toasted “everything” bagel, a Starbucks coffee (whatever their bold was today) and 25 mg of Chlorthalidone.
In my two weeks in Australia, friend Cunctator, I managed to miss out on vegemite.
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I made our weekly Reallybig Chocolate Chip Pancake. It covers the whole bottom of a (well-buttered) skillet and to flip it, you place another (well-buttered, heated) skillet on top of the first one and flip them both over as fast as you can. Usually we’re pretty good at the flipping, but yesterday I screwed up and ended up cleaning pancake batter off the stove. The pancake recovered, though. Once it’s cooked, it usually slides out onto a plate pretty easily. Then we each grab a fork and dig in; the Reallybig Chocolate Chip Pancake is traditionally accompanied by a big glass of milk and devoured while watching Mythbusters.
