I still don’t have a scale so I don’t know exactly what I’ve lost, but my pants do feel looser, so I must be on the right track!
I didn’t get much exercise this week because I’ve been suffering from a sinus infection and it hurt to damn much to move, much less move in a rapid and consistent manner. (I know, that’s no excuse but I am a wimp). I’ve been feeling much better and running around a lot with the kids at the playground.
I’m trying to find a reliable, and preferably free sitter so that I can go to the gym and use their equipment. My husband is in night school, so I can’t do it when he comes home from work. Or, if I can find somebody else who is interested, exchanging babysitting.
I’m still the same. But my pants feel like they fit different so I think I’m exchanging fat for muscle. Thanks for posting this topic and big hugs to all!
My wife is on the same program I am. Though she has not been able to exercise, she has consitently lost weight every week except the week before her time of the month.
On that week she at best loses nothing and has occasionally gained a pound or two.
So, say it is water. You will lose it all and more next week.

I lost another pound this week…been having some problems with my bingeing coming back. So…taking the next big step today and calling Overeaters Anonymous to see if there’s a meeting in my area. Wish me luck, y’all.

Next month is gonna be hell… why is it that around Christmas everyone feels the need to bring in extra treats at work?
Tip from Strainger:
I have a much easier time exercising self control at the grocery than I do at home or work. At the grocery store, I look for items that are low in fat and don’t have too many calories. At home or work, I will scarf any food item available - pizza, doughnuts, deep-fried Crisco, etc. My point, avoid purchasing junk food. Makes it easier to avoid munching on junk food later.
I’m at about 191 lb now. I would prefer to be at about 185, but my girlfriend doesn’t want me to lose any more weight (and she’s the only one I’m trying to impress). Still, I’ll probably try to drop about 1/2 lb per week on average and level off around 185-187.
