Really, this is pretty rude. OK, you don’t like Fox, I get it, but Fox doesn’t send out people loaded with explosives expressly to kill Jews and Americans, nor does Fox mutilate women’s genitals or encourage wife beating (yeah, that’s in the Koran).
Maybe people on this board need to step back and rethink their knee-jerk hatred of conservatives. Liberals are always gabbing on about how they tolerate everyone and welcome diversity, but they never speak the second part of their sentence…“UNLESS YOU’RE CONSERVATIVE.” You’re not making your ideology look very attractive here.

Hard to say which post is dumber the Op or this one. Both use broad brushes and the over-the-top generalizations.
“Spare the rod and spoil the child” is in the Bible. Does that mean Christianity encourages child abuse?
Also, Fox does whip up hatred, and that’s not entirely unrelated to the thousands of deaths in Iraq and Syria. Moreover, the Koran is a medieval document, and can hardly be held responsible for how it’s used in 2015. Nor is there a central authority for Islam, or even Militant Islamism, that we can point to. So Islam doesn’t “send out people loaded with explosives expressly to kill Jews and Americans.” Influential leaders do, but they’re not acting in concert and they have limited authority. The people they have killed are just as dead, of course, so I’m not defending them, but it’s not like the Pope of Islam is out there decreeing doctrine.
Plus, I was circumsized right there in America, which is religiously inspired genital mutilation. Apples to oranges when compared to the horror that is FGM, I know, but I’m just saying that your vilification isn’t very nuanced when compared to reality, and you’re letting Fox off rather easily.
It’s the kind of thread liberals would start to marginalize a group whose ideas they don’t share.

Well, the Old Testament (where the proverb comes from) is a good deal older than the Koran, so I don’t think Christianity should be held responsible for that, either.
I personally don’t watch Fox, but I also don’t care for Islam. Yes, I did paint liberals with a broad brush, but by the same token, isn’t that exactly what they do with conservatives? At least IME in the time I’ve been lurking/posting here, the nastiness from liberals is much more venomous than anything that’s coming from the conservatives.
