My husband and I take care of my mother, who has mid-stage Alzheimer’s. It affects every single aspect of our lives, both good and bad. It particularly affects me, as I’m an only and she’s my only direct living relative. Let’s just say her disease has brought up a LOT of issues.
Oh, if I’m not using ellipses, I’m emphasizing LIKE THIS or * like this*. I try not to do it too much unless it’s called for because I know how annoying it can be. But yeah, I’m a rather dramatic sort IRL.
Oh, I almost forgot – hubby and I are ardent Dog People. He’s brought Alaskan Malamutes into my life. My mom’s house will never be the same. We also have “the little girl dog of unknown origin” named Ember. I feel the need to mention her a lot because she tends to be overlooked with all that fur and woo-woo talk
