What do you prefer to drink when eating sushi? (Except for water or that soup you get or sake.) We’re making sushi this weekend, but I don’t know what to drink.
I always serve beer; a nice, sharp, hoppy Pilsner. Pilsen Urquell works good.
Hot or cold tea works well, if you don’t want anything with alcohol.
Sapporo or Kirin beer or Coke.
Green tea.
I really like a semi-sweet white wine like a gewurztraminer or riesling. It especially works well if your sushi is spicy. Make sure you get something with enough acidity and not too sweet.

I just drink whatever, nothing specific. So usually a soft drink, I guess. I’ve never really considered it.

I thought about beer, for myself. I just imagined it’d work. Pilsner Urqurell is tasty. My wife, though, doesn’t like beer (or tea). Perhaps she’ll go with NicorGasMan’s suggestion…
Plum wine. This might make me some kind of philistine; I have no idea. It’s just what I like to have.
Green tea. Sometimes I will have a Coke afterward.
sake or water. Everything else is just wrong to me.
Beer, tea, sake, or water, depending on my mood, and the quality of the joint.
Tea is the perfect drink with sushi. I’ll usually order sake too but I’m not really drinking it with the sushi. It more of something to do while waiting for the different dishes to arrive. Tea is what I prefer to drink while the flavor of sushi still lingers in my mouth 
Sapporo and Kirin Ichiban are good too when I’m in the mood for beer. Although, they’re undrinkable when you’re not having sushi. For whatever reason, I can taste some soy sauce in them and it’s a bit disgusting when you’re drinking it just for the sake of drinking beer. Great with the sushi though.

Another green tea vote - prevents that middle of the night sushi thirst.
I usually have sushi for lunch. So its usually water or green tea. I think an unusual (for over here) fruit juice like lychee might be nice though!
Hot tea (green).
