Two words: naughty librarian.
Dang, Harborwolf, here I thought I was the only one in the world who had ‘shoulders / neckline’ as a feature of attraction! I’m so glad I’m not alone.
I like women that are on the short side… 5’2"ish. I’ve always been attracted to blondes for some reason or another, but I get very turned on for the dark brown or black haired ladies with blue eyes.
Go figure.
Well, since you asked… (Heterosexual male here)
I’ll agree with others who said that a cute/pretty face, with nice eyes and a nice smile, is most important. But there’s a fairly wide variety of women I find attractive. In general, I tend to be more attracted to white women than other races/colors (being white myself), but that’s not an absolute rule.
Hair can be any color and style, but not too short (should at least cover the neck) nor artificially elaborate.
Eyes can be any color, but they should look, well, alive, bright and alert, like somebody’s home. If the look in her eyes or the expression on her face gives no evidence of her having a brain, a heart, or a soul, that’s a major turn-off. So is a frown, a scowl, or a sneer.
Make-up or no make-up: either is fine, as long as it isn’t overdone so that it looks like she’s wearing a mask. Make-up looks more dressed up and formal, but all-dressed-up and casual can both be quite attractive.
Any body size/shape/type is great, as long as she’s healthy (not severely over- or under-weight). Tattoos and piercings decrease a woman’s attractiveness in my eyes; I prefer bodies as originally designed by nature, without modifications.
I’m a bloke.
The boat race as got to be the most important physical feature for me: kind eyes and a nice smile.
I generally have a thing for brunettes, but not exclusively, and a thing for mixed race girls, especially Anglo-Indians and the BBC (British Born Chinese) but again not exclusively.
Very “full-on” feminine women I find a bit scary to be honest, so it’s “natural”-type make up and go easy on the nail gloss and the high heals.
A sexy back is fantastic. Legs rank higher than boobs. Firm is better than flabby.
Got the boobs thing out of my system after a fling with a 5’2" girl sporting 32H. Anticipation was high, but the reality was almost actually a turn-off, almost freakish. And we couldn’t go anywhere together without her attracting altogether too much attention.
If someone has a really nice face, everything else is fairly secondary.
Nice face, nice hair, nice tummy pretty much does it for me. Glasses are a welcome addition…Think Amy Acker when she’s wearing her glasses on “Angel”. Now THAT’s beauty.
I like small boobs. C cup is pushing it, preferably less. Brunettes, preferably with naturally curly hair, and, well, eyes. Blue, green, purple, doesn’t matter as long as they have character. I actually like eyes more than anything. If I had to choose, grey eyes are pretty cool. I like narrow hips. No or little make up too. She must look good in camp clothing or sailing gear.
I married a small, blonde, athletic woman with nicely toned legs, great ass (49, and still no cottage cheese either place ) and brown eyes. 20 years after I met her, I’m still trying to see more of her naked. Or, actually, see her naked more often. So, I like that type.
I also have a thing for Winona Ryder and Catherine Zeta-Jones. And there’s this blonde woman in a yoga class with startling deep blue eyes. I like her, too. And I know this black body builder, and she is pretty hot too. And my wife’s one best friend who is tall and very thin. She’s good. And her other best friend with the big boobs. And …
I guess I just like healthy and happy women.
I like nice, long legs and a tight ass.

- I tend to think that most of what makes a girl attractive is attitude more than anything else: I know a girl who has a tendency to get drunk and get into fistfights with guys. She usually ends up getting her butt kicked, but does get in a few good hits. She looks average, not bad but not that great either. Guys I know IRL are nearly universally positively captivated by her.
Somebody famous once said something about men wanting dangerous playthings.

What’s os sexy about glasses? I wear a pair of catseyes, and I don’t see how they can be such a turn-on…
I just have to say that this describes me almost exactly and it’s kinda eerie.
(and I work in a library!)
Love ya, BoringDad!
I’ve noticed on this board threads like this are always a feel-good hit. I can always skim through and only notice the things that match up with me and then walk away feeling like the most attractive person. “Hey I have a runny nose! I am wearing glasses! My ass is big and my hair is covering my neck. I am A GODDESS!”
I’ve never understood the reductionist approach to this topic. There are some traits that I like; not overweight (but not skin and bones, either), hair about down to the shoulders (long enough to be feminine, but no so long that it’s inconvenient). But if I ever think I’m developing a trend, I could find another pretty woman who breaks that rule. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
Now this is one of my weaknesses, but I don’t know if I could explain why. I like the sense of intelligence and curiousity, that someone would care enough about the world to want to see it in all its detail. Glasses draw attention to the eyes, and makes them look a little larger. I like the variety, the not-quite-subtle difference in how someone looks with or without glasses. And I read somewhere that taking off glasses is an unmistakeable signal that someone wants to be kissed.
It’s hard to explain. Figure out what your weakness is for guys (cleft chin, mustache, whatever) and then ask yourself “why?”
And you pretty much nailed it for me.
As far as the rest of the body, as long as she isn’t stick thing or fat, some tummy roll is perfectly fine, I suppose just when she becomes fat to the point of not being attractive is a, “I’ll know it when I see it.” thing.
Good heavens. I’m Herge’s dream girl.
Unfortunately for him, I’m also the WryGuy’s dream girl. Next lifetime around, OK, Herge?
So, how YOU doin’?
P.S. I will listen to your music!
Add me to the glasses look cool crowd (I am always a bit disappointed when a woman starts wearing contacts, or gets laser surgery, although I shouldn’t be).
Being blonde, I tend more to dark haired ladies (of course), and certainly have a fondness for many asian genotypes (not all - real skinny women don’t do it for me).
And I’ll will go with almost any type of hair, except (here we go…)
pigtails (ugh), dreadlocks (really ugh), ‘little orphan annie curls’ (triple ugh) and crewcuts/shaved heads (simply out of the question). Mohawks are problematic, as I though the retro-punk trend is over now (I’ve now lived through both the early 80s and mid-90s mohawk periods) - besides, in college (Mohawk period I), the girls I knew with Mohawks used sticky goo and/or sugar water to style it that way - not a pretty texture.
Oh yeah, I forgot, overweight’s fine (I’m overweight myself), but nothing close to the scale of Large Encounters/Goddesses (which answer the musical question of how large is large).
Finally, Genetic Girls only…
Hmmm, when I write it out that way, what seemed like reasonable requests look like unlimited, implacable demands.
Well…
