What do you (or someone you know) eat that would make others go EEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!?????

Somewhere along the line, I developed a strong liking for Indian Achaar, or Mixed pickle.

If you’re unfamiliar with this, picture mangoes, carrots, chiles, etc., in a HEAVILY seasoned oil pack.

My wife tried it at the local Indian restaurant and promptly spit it into a napkin, exclaiming, “That doesn’t belong in a mouth!!”

My best friend descibes the taste as “galvanic.” SIL refers to it as “gasoline pickle.”

I eat it out of the jar with a plastic fork, because I really do fear it reacts with metal…

Frog’s legs

I’ve been known to pour Old Bay seasoning into a small Dixie cup and just nibble it off the tip of my finger. Oh, I love Old Bay so much! I only have to think of it and my mouth waters.

Haven’t yet read the thread; but it grosses my wife out no end that I like peanut butter on my hot dogs.

Nothing else in this thread has made me ill…

Peanut butter…God’s condiment

Show me a Thai recipe with hot dogs…

From the good people at Kraft.

Good gad.
Thanks, but I’ve not eaten anything by Kraft since I’ve been able to cook for myself.

Tastes like chicken.

I shot a bull frog with a pellet gun at my Grandfather’s pond.
They made me eat it.
It tasted like rubber bands, but Mama Plant wasn’t that great a cook, bless her heart.

I will remember this!

Add a couple of thin slices of good white onion, and some mayo, to that egg on bread…

That’s something my dad ate all the time, but while I was growing up, I hated eggs. Now, I like those same sandwiches, though admittedly once in a blue moon. WORST BAD BREATH EVER!! And worth it.

peanut butter and sweet relish sandwich. Loved it as a kid and would eat it now. Also butter (yes, real butter, not margarine) and peanut butter sandwich. This one grosses out my family ;p
