And the point to the Burroughs quote is that, despite being a life long heroin addict, Burroughs still had 100x the writing talent that you do. But, hey, way to ignore every other post in this thread by focusing on the only one that even tangenitally supports what passes for your world view.
Just to skip the pile-on and give it a shot (closing eyes, so ignoring capitalization):
a boy sitting in his bedroom, possibly playing nintendo. the boy is tall, slender, ad casually dressed. a cat somewhee nearby that he is either petting or teasing. near the boy, a bed that was made up not by hismself, but by his mother, who still has to remind him to brush his teeth. in the other room, a litte girl playing by herself beause no one else will play with her. an older sister ignoring the litttle girl, but playng with her own hair in the mirror. In the kitchen, mom and dad are discussing whether to let the teenage girl go somewhere she wants to go.
outside, an empty car, a trash can, and a dog. the dog is bored and peeing on everything, and the trash can is empty. The road is fairly desolate, only transporting people who live in the neighborhood. Trees are looming about, green and pregnant with leaves. Like the street in The Regulators, but not creepy. Just expectant and bored.
