What do you think of this ring? Does it send the right message?

I’m thinking this elegant ringwould beautifully express to a special woman what I’m thinking about her. What do you think?

It’s an eye-opener, for sure.

I guess it depends on what kind of jewelry the special woman wears.

I don’t have a gold-digging bone in my body – seriously, I’m as low maintenance as they come – but I’d rather have a smaller ring with a real stone than something with fake stones.

I know – it’s the thought that counts, and if you think she’d wear it, then go for it.

ETA: Wait. This a whoosh, isn’t it?

Yeah, I don’t think I would like to receive it (though I’m not a girl).

In the original Claddagh ring (based on one of the associated links on that page), the hands are cradling the heart. I assume this is traditional, though I am not familiar with it before now.

In this version, the hands are gripping the heart for dear life. It seems creepy to me. Like one of those uber-possessive men who start out wanting to be with you all the time, and end up beating you up because some man looked at you for a nanosecond.

Whoosh? I hope so.

I don’t know. What are you thinking about her?

Goatse ring?

Bingo.

Are you thinking of Squeezing her heart really tight?

God help me, this is exactly what I thought when I saw it.

Ain’t the internet wonderful?

Oh, no. Now I can’t think of anything else when I see that ring.

Absolutely… apparently the goatse ring also cures cancer.

My thought before I even saw the ring.

**Binarydrone **owes me a keyboard.

Good god - she certainly is a special woman if this ring makes you think about her at all.

I kind of liked it until the goatse comparisons… but the website is deemed untrustworthy according to Web of Trust so I’d be very careful about buying anything from there.

Bless her heart.

Naaaa…it’s not a proper Claddagh without the crown. And a prolapsed rectum will never take the place of a crown.

It’s not her heart that needs blessing if the goatse ring makes him think of her.

Hmm… that WOULD make for an interesting coronation tho… perhaps suggest it to some stuffy monarchy as a way to stay in touch with modern times?
