I want to see my kitty cat and my family
I want a new phone and/or a new laptop. I’m not asking anyone to get me that of course, if I do it’ll be a present to myself.

I would like the dent in my car fixed. Or some cool yarn. But more than anything, I want Jokum to find his forever home.
Well I want a new car, but I’ll settle for season 6 of Mad-Men on Blu-ray.
I bought myself a PS4 which is being delivered tomorrow. I’ve wanted to do a track day driving a supercar/supercars for a while.
Hallgirl 1 and I will be going to Texas to spend a week with Hallgirl2, her hubby and the Hallgrandkids, so I really have no cause to ask for anything else, but I’d be thrilled beyond belief to have Hallboy join us. I know that won’t be happening–he can’t take leave until he passes a series of training tests (for the USAF) which won’t happen until sometime in February or so, but I still can’t help but wish.
A Wii U.
An iPod. I lost my shuffle (too small!) and although I’ve bought cheap mp3 players since then, theres always something wrong with them plus I can’t get my songs off of iTunes with them.
A KitchenAid stand mixer. The nice one, with some attachments.
A new timing chain for my car + installation
A new laptop isn’t absolutely necessary, but it would be nice.
Thanks in advance!
I want my dog back.
I’m getting what I want, a trip to Italy
More naps.
I am not kidding.
A down throw to keep me warm on the couch, and some tiny dessert spoons because ice cream and pudding are more fun when eaten from teensy spoons.
I also need some Michaels gift cards, because I’m going to have a bunch of crafts to work on in the next few months, and I’m not sure yet exactly what supplies I’ll need.
I would be thrilled with a Walmart gift card. This is what my brother always gives me, and it’s always the perfect color AND fit! Right after Christmas money is always tight, mostly because everyone is off work for two weeks with no pay. I’d like to have extra money for food and other groceries without being embarrassed to ask for “food and other groceries” but that’s what I need and want the most.
I’d like a really nice dinner out at Jameson’s.
Or the large bottle of Jagermeister.
Either will work.
I don’t have pictures yet, but I’m hoping to pick her up tomorrow.
Her name is Goldeneye.
…and sometimes she purrs.
In my experience, this gift also requires the “Valve job” expansion pack in order to be of any use. . .
Amazon credit. I have to write a book, a couple of articles, and several conference papers over the course of the next year. I want credit to splurge out on books!
And I guess a bookshelf.
The actual steps towards buying a house that is not only big enough for the two of us (so we can each have our own workspace), and one closer to school (which would be the amazing cherry on the bun), but also so I can get my things out of storage. But I don’t think that’s in the cards.
That figures, cars are scams. What I really want is to move to NYC- then I wouldn’t need a car.
As for an iPod, I bought myself one while shopping on Black Friday. As a mother, I have the urge to give it to my son for Christmas to replace his, but NO, I deserve nice things! I’m keeping it.
I would like nuts. Seriously. Cashews, pistachio nuts, pecans, shelled pumpkin seeds, filberts, brazil nuts, almonds, macadamias. You name it, I’m a nut for nuts. No one gets this, or believes it, or they laugh. “Why don’t you just pick up a bag of shell nuts at the grocery store?” they say. I could do that, but it’s like buying a wedge of raw cabbage when you want a humongous bowl of your favorite cole slaw.
Me too! I bought these just the other day.
I also added this to the watch list:
I would like one big box marked “peace”, covered with the shiny red wrap of “forgiveness”, topped with a beautiful tightly tied bow of “family harmony”. Place it under a freshly cut tree that infuses the home with “memories” that reminds us all that Christmas is a time for “love”. I would be one happy lady.
