That would be nice. I think the only non-commercialized holiday would be Thanksgiving, and that’s only because it falls in (and is buried by) the “Christmas 1/4 of the year”.

Just thought I’d mention (if anybody was interested) that I did get my referral. Step 1, of the Want To Be Spayed manual has now been completed.

Boy that sounds good!! I’ll be lucky if my husband remembered to buy a card (even though I reminded him - gently - on Wednesday.)
Today’s my due date, so I’d really like a baby. =)
I’d settle for a Snickers bar, though.
I didn’t get the flowers, but I did get the alone time. Granted, it was in his car (being a teenager and trying to have some “fun” can be a bit difficult with interfering, sometimes overprotective parents), but we did have some fun. We didn’t go all the way, but still had an enjoyable time, which was then followed by a discussion of politics! How many cute, sweet guys are there out there that also are intelligent? All in all, I had a wonderful time, and a wonderful Valentine’s day.

I got what I wanted at 4am today…
She told me she loved me. That made me happier than I have been in a long time, regardless of which context of the word ‘love’ she was using.
I couldn’t ask for anything more.
