Sometimes people shorten it to SAL, but I have read right by this in posts, thinking they were referring to someone named Sal.

I started gettin’ called Wolfie over at G’Dope, and that stuck. Lately, there’s been the variation of Icy or Icey. In context, I’ll also answer to Ice or Hey, Wolf!
