What do you wear to sleep in?

Starkers or over-size cotton boxers (which also are house-lounging shorts).

'cept that a potential challenge has been revealed about the boxers. Remember the Friends episode where Phoebe’s boyfriend had a habit of wearing gym shorts all the time and whenever he sat down he unknowingly broadcast the fact that he wore nothing under them?

Apparently my cotton boxers ride up in much the same fashion. I discovered this was the case when I picked up some photos from the developer’s last week. Seems that sometime back Mrs. T took a picture of me sitting on the couch. I was rather startled to see that the resulting photo showed more of me than any photo ever has.

Good heavens…

[sup] I sure wish I’d known about this before Mom came to stay with us last week! -[/sup]

large bed-shaped pajamas

At home: T-shirts (or old granny style robes) and panties

At school: T-shirts(or old granny style robes), panties, sport bras, and socks. And a jean nearby in case the fire alarm goes off(as it did this morning).

Nothing at home. If it’s cold, I just pile on more blankets.

Visiting, just boxers.

Year-round, usually just a t-shirt. If there’s company over, I’ll usually throw on a pair of shorts so that my mother-in-law doesn’t have to walk by Mr. Hairy-Butt.

I used to prefer sleeping in the all-together, but I tend to sleep with the sheets tucked in under my arms, and, uh, well, uh, sometimes after a long day I’m not exactly the freshest (IYKWIM), so a t-shirt helps the sheets stay fresh.

Yeah, I know, TMI.

Home (Canada): nothing, or my fuzzy winter robe.

at the SO’s (Georgia, USA): nothing, or my blue silk robe.

Does anyone actually WEAR lingerie to bed? I wear it so it may be removed. Das it folks!

Usually, nothing.

But sometimes I just feel like sleeping a big ol’ t-shirt or a silky chemise.

Cold: pajama pants and a t-shirt
Warm: t-shirt and underpants (or Gunslinger’s boxers)
Very hot and I have privacy to sleep in: nude

Summer: An ancient shorts-and-T-shirt pajama set that I keep meaning to replace, but never actually get around to it.
Winter: Either a T-shirt and a pair of doctor’s scrub pants my mom gave me, or one of several sets of satin jammies.

I usually wear nothing at all, but if I have ‘company’ I’ll wear lingerie. Whether it stays on or not is another story.
If I fall asleep wearing it, odds are I’ll take it off in my sleep.

Another somnudalist checking in.

When visiting, tank top and shorts.

Yah - as described, I have a whole selection of little strappy La Senza type outfits that would certainly qualify as lingerie.

Let me tell you, my bunnies are mighty impressed when I where these outfits to feed them in the AM.

Al.

<had to do it> “feeding the bunnies”…that’s what the kids are calling it these days?

Usually in pyjamas.I am always cold and have several blankets. Sometimes, during the summer I will sleep in just a t-shirt snd boxers, but that is rare.

I wear an old t-shirt and boxers to sleep in. I always have the fear that my daughter will crawl in the bed with me and I wouldn’t know it. (Not that I think nudity is wrong, I just would like to know who’s seeing me nekkid)

Warning TMI!

Another reason I can’t sleep naked is that I always end up pinching or squashing my boobs. OUCH

I have to wear clothing all day. There’s no way I’m going to wear them to sleep in.

However, if I’m sleeping on someone else’s bed, couch, or whatever, then I’ll sleep in my underwear out of courtesy.

Used to be nude all the time. Then the Olethlings[sup]TM[/sup] came along and started getting older. Now if I go au naturel they giggle and try to yank my willie. I am NOT a pulltoy, dagnabbit!

So now in the winter it’s PJs. Right now I have on some lavendar one’s they gave me when I flew on Singapore Airlines. Very toasty. I also have a cotton Ward Cleaver pair for when the temp is in between. In the summer I’ll wear a loose cotton t-shirt and shorts. If I’m certain the rugrats won’t be in first thing in the am I like to shed the bottoms, but now I almost always keep my shoulders covered.
PS to Superdude: Nice try, the “n” and “c” keys aren’t even typed with the same hand.

Nothing but a smile.

I am now having to teach myself not to step out of bed and stretch while facing the rising sun, since the leaves have fallen off the bushes between my bedroom and the neighbors front porch.
