On The Tonight Show, Jay Leno quipped that he was found at a bus stop, and if yje bus had been on time he might’ve gotten away.

Actually, I’d like to hear what his keepers think this experience was like for him. The being out part, not the being chased and shot at part. Even I, not at all a primate expert, can guess.
They still aren’t saying how he got out, Cal? Incredible. When I read about that Monday I thought sure the shitstorm would be so intense that a few heads would roll right away.
The weird angle that occurred to me was, what about the teenager that was injured in the escape? She doesn’t show up to school the next day, is anyone going to believe her perfectly valid excuse?
I expect him to show up in Hollywood, then run for governor shortly thereafter. And he’d work for bananas! That would be his platform motto.
My mistake – I hadn’t seen that morning’s Boston Globe, which had a picture of where he got out.
Kinda scary – we’re members of the Franklin Park Zoo and go there all the time. We’ve stood at that spot and watched the gorillas at play. Nice to know they coulda come over and playe4d with us, too.
Needless to say, they’re investigating now, and talking about electrified barriers and such.
