Maybe it’s just the cats, or my temperpedic slippers, but it still feels pretty good. 
I have too many Dopers I am thankful for to list. Even the ones I disagree with have new things to teach me… and sometimes I end up agreeing with them.
Granted, a lot of this disagreement occurs between me and the computer screen, as I rarely have the heart to cuss someone out for what they believe, but sometimes I sit here and cluck my tongue while reading in the Pit and I think “Well. That’s not very nice.” But I am thankful for those people, too. I learn many things from everyone. I’m just built more for MPSIMS.
I’ve made a few “favourite Doper” lists before, and they’re all on the list of those I’m thankful for, and let me add - everyone mentioned in this thread I am thankful for, everyone who posted in this thread I am thankful for, and everyone not mentioned in this thread I am thankful for - for the lessons I’ve learned, for making me think about the world around me, for making me think honestly about myself, for making me laugh, for giving me a good rise, for all the advice, and for all the one liners, for all the WTF moments, for all the poetry and MMPs, for interesting games and interesting threads.

Anaamika, for being a strong-willed woman with a colourful personality.
Sampiro, for having such a wacky family and being willing to share stories with us.
Aesiron, for being the first person to ever call me a dork in the nicest possible way.
Evil Captor, just 'cause.
Of course all the mods and admins, without whom this board would dissolve into a chaos of cites and goat-felching, and who generally have a great sense of humor.
And last but not least, Hal Briston, for making me think of sheep in a whole new light.
Ah, this is like that time I was terrified of winning the Oscar and not thanking somebody, but luckily Marisa Tomei won it instead so I didn’t have to worry about it.
Basically, everybody who has complimented my writing and laughed at my stories because I’m a really really needy fellow in some ways (oh, you have no idea) and it encourages me to write-
