What ever happened to Joyce K., Seattle

Just read today’s question to Cecil, about what X% chance of rain means. At the end there was a comment by Joyce K., Seattle

This reminded me that in the, I think, first Straight Dope book there were several such comments by her. Cecil actually referred to her as, “The Redoubtable Joyce K.” Strong praise at the time when his comments about his readers usually left me scurring to write down his scathing put-downs least I forget them before getting a chance to work them into casual conversation.

So, where is this, no doubt beautiful and curvacious, paragon of wit and intelligence today? Does she walk among us unnoticed (except, of course, for the clarity and brilliance of her posts); is she a moderator, where her talents allows her to push and nudge the unwashed masses along to a better world?
Oh, Joyce K., Seattle , where art thou?

I’ll be back later to see if anyone knows anything - maybe she will come leaping out of the shadows to gather the praise due her - but for now it’s off to the allys for a few games of bowling.

Since this is about Cecil’s columns (sort of), I’ll move this thread to the Comments on Cecil’s Columns forum.

The RJK is mentioned in at least eight columns:

She may be the same person as the Joyce K. of Oregon who writes in here:

She may be the same person as “Your faithful correspondent, Joyce Kehoe, Seattle, Washington” who writes in here: http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a3_124b.html

Of all these, the one that might be the most recent is from the third book, which came out 10 years ago. However, I don’t think the columns in the newer books are necessarily newer than the columns from the older books. Not all of the columns have dates, so it’s hard to tell.
