What famous person has the sexiest speaking voice?

My vote goes to Lynne Russell from the same network. Course, to me, it ain’t just her voice :stuck_out_tongue:

Katie Holmes
Drew Barrymore
Nathalie Portman
Cameron Diaz has the sexiest laughing voice.

That means I don’t have to post here, so I’ll be movin’ along.

(That woman could give me a HO reading my phone bill!)

Hmmm. Rene Zelweger (sp?). Though I’m sure I’m saying this mainly because I think she’s insanely cute.

Kirk Hammet?! Kirk Hammet?! I love Metallica, but man, I never would have pegged Hammet’s voice as being sexy. I’ve always thought it was rather effeminate.

Anyone listened to Carrie Fisher’s voice lately (and even as early as Return of the Jedi?) Yowza. Also, Roma Downey from Touched by and Angel. Can’t stand the show, don’t care for the new-agey-pseudo-Celtic album she put out, but I could listen to her read the phone book…and then there’s Sarah McLachlan…

As for guys I wish I could sound like, Sean Connery (whom I do a passable impression of), Liam Neeson, or Hugh Jackman, the Aussie who played Wolverine in X-MEN. My wife got shivers listening to him.

I agree… But hey, to each his and her own, I guess.
Speaking of Metallica, I already mentioned Hetfield, but my friend decided to give her two cents when we were discussing this topic offline today: she said she likes the “monster voice” Jason Newsted does in the background of songs.

George Takei (“Mr. Sulu” from Star Trek). Fabulous deep voice.

xixor, you’d like me. I’ve been told I sound like her.

Demi Moore.

Christina Ricci

Eartha Kitt

Isn’t that Marilyn Manson’s given name???

I like you already. Could you say something Star Trekkish?

Alec Baldwin
James Earl Jones(take me you wicked stud monkey)
Casper Van Dien
Kevin Spacey(take me like an underaged cheerleader(

Women’s voices I find pleasant are:
Kathleen Turner
Isabella Rosellini
Cathy Moriarty
Nina Simone
Eartha Kitt
CCH Pounder

I agree with those who listed, among the men: Rupert Everett, Frank Langella, and Alec Baldwin. I also like Bruce Willis (so sue me), Lawrence Fishburne, and my all-time voice hottie, Harry Connick Jr.

As for the ladies, yes to: Alex Kingston, Rene Zellweger, Cathy Moriarty, Lauren Bacall and Kathleen Turner. I’d like to add Sharon Stone and Gates McFadden.

I’m sure this is an incomplete list and I’ll surely think of more later . . .

See, I forgot:

Russell Crowe
Tom Selleck
Sam Elliot
Ed Harris
Val Kilmer
Morgan Freeman
Jeff Bridges
Billy Zane
and
Susan Sarandon

Somebody should slap me: Brendan Fraser.

I found this thread right next to a thread on Jar-Jar Binks. Mmmmm … who could resist the whine of Jar Jar’s faux-Jamaican voice?

Gabriel Byrne

For a woman, Michelle Pfieffer a la Catwoman.

Richard Gere
