What famous person has the sexiest speaking voice?

Sean Connery of course
also for singers Rob Thomas from matchbox20 (I was so disappointed when I first saw him cuz his voice is so sexy and he’s kind of girly looking. also eminem does too especially on I’m Back on his new CD

You laugh; I have a friend who really fell for the voice–she’s said she’d love to meet Ahmed Best.
I adore Peter Tork’s voice (of course), but he’s probably 2nd or 3rd on my list, especially considering speaking versus singing (not that I don’t think he’s got a great speaking voice as well–and don’t get me started on that laugh!). Like many American women, accents just do me in. The absolute sexiest famous (male) voice is without a doubt Liam Neeson to me. I’ve borrowed (and planned to buy) the book on tape “How the Irish Saved Civilization” which Neeson reads and some of the poetry in that book as read by him is…ooooooo…spine-tingly.

Hey, I’ve got an addendum to the OP if anyone wants to throw their answer in as well…I’d say mine stays with the two above, but…what famous person has the sexiest laugh? Is it the same as the person you chose for sexiest speaking voice? Just curious…

Jessy Schram – and there are other girls that are in this category but she’s the first that comes to mind-- I like how it’s lush but girly, sweet but light. There’s something childlike or innocent about it. Charming
Bjork of course, even if it’s dark and light
What do people think of Claire Danes voice?
I thought it was great in my so called life with the angst and sweetness, but in Homeland, it’s seems a little shrill… No?
Does Sasha Pieterse have a sweet voice?

Also, I agree with Eminem for guys… Velvety. Very sexy!
Also Kurt Cobain had a sexy voice.
Anthony LaPaglia has a deep voice but its multifaceted and has an elusive feel that gives me a thrill and I like.

Also somebody mentioned Juliana Margulies-- what’s her appeal? Maybe it’s the same as LaPaglia but the female version.

Tim Curry. Even if he is a zombie.

Claudia Black, but it may just be the accent.

Another vote for Kathleen Turner.

Benedict Cumberbatch.

Vicky Butler-Henderson, presenter of Fifth Gear and formerly of Top Gear-

Kathleen Turner for the women, Alan Rickman for the men - surprised I’m the first one to mention him.

Harriet Cass and Charlotte Green (and we’re now sadly deprived of hearing their dulcet tones).

Best of all is hearing Charlotte Green cracking up whilst reading the news…

I love Geri Halliwell’s speaking voice. It sounds really sexy.

Alan Rickman definitely. I, too, was surprised he wasn’t listed earlier.

^^Alan Rickman, yes.
Antonio Banderas - the man could probably seduce someone while reading from the phone book.

Kurt Cobain did have a very nice non-gravelly speaking voice, not sure I’d say he was ever trying to be “sexy” though…

This is the correct answer. If I’d been a Doper in 2000, I would have voted for him back then.

Elizabeth Peña, specifically as Mirage in The Incredibles. Her voice is just crazy sexy in that film.

[/QUOTE]

I forget the comic, but he had a bit about what women say they want (a guy with a good sense of humor) versus what they actually want (Antonio Banderas) “I will make love to you and give you an orgasm so intense that you will see dead relatives.”

Barbara Walters
Gilbert Gottfried
Calvert Deforest
Ricardo Montalban
Danny Devito
Paul Lynde

Peter Steele.
Alan Rickman

Andy Merrill
Judy Tenuta

Lauren Bacall, Alan Rickman, James Earl Jones, Cathy Moriarty–yes.

But Emma Thompson does it for me.
And Andie MacDowell.
And Capucine
And Audrey Hepburn

Accent Fetish, much?
