What field of work are you in?

I’m a secretary for a little local company comprised mostly of my friends. I do a little of everything. (and a lot of nothing  sometimes, like now)

The business I work for is a sound company, we provide sound, light, staging etc for events, so my occupation is secretary but my business field is entertainment support.

I stuck down R&D 'cos that’s what the organisation does - emphasis on the “R” - but I’m actually a management/management systems/quality/process imprvcement sort of person these days.

Hardy har! :stuck_out_tongue:

I wish you’d said “Legal Field” instead of “Attorney” in your options. You forced me to be an “other.” I’m a paralegal.

I’ve never understood R&D in these categories. I’m somewhere in the middle of Engineering and Information Technology, but really do R&D in these areas.

Likewise. I’m a big-city muni court magistrate.

I’m an electrician.

Left me out - retired . Was an electrical engineer.

I’m a management consultant who works for a Big-4 accounting firm that provides litigation technology consulting services to the banking and insurance industry. So I can check off “information technology”, “finance”, “insurance / risk management”, “accounting” and “legal”.

Mathematician

Ms Hook and myself are both retired and sucking lustfully on the public teat.

Ya’ll just keep those cards and letters coming every month, ya hear.

I’m a production editor for a magazine, also in publishing.

Librarian; depending upon the day, several of those job categories could fit, but I’d need more than one to describe my job in general.

My title:

Wellsite Geologist or
Senior Mudlogger or
Logging Geologist or
Oilfield Trash.

Any of the above work for me.

Unclviny

Education/librarianship - like nashiitashii I could be in several categories depending on what I’m doing that day.

I’m of the opinion that Information Technology is too broad of a field these days. It would have been nice to either have it by sub category or by industry.

A type of Artist
Professional musician, teacher, recording engineer and producer, radio DJ

Geologist.

More oilfield trash here as well…

I am an engineer by background, then moved into management now I am doing a human resources type job so I voted for HR but I am at heart an engineer…

There doesn’t seem to be an option for a person with multiple jobs?
