What group was that? Macy's parade.

There was a rock band of younger musicians that included guitars, drums, brass and winds. Good rockin’ sound. I only caught a glimpse of the name, which seemed to have the word “electronic” (or some variation) in it. Any help?

ETA: Reported myself as an idiot.

No clues?

I didn’t see the parade.

Electric Light Orchestra?

I watched but didn’t catch the name, either. Sorry.

Here is a list of the performers.

Was it Diamante Eléctrico, perhaps?

Hmmm. . .yeah, I think so. I don’t see any videos with a horn section, but the sound is right. Thanks.

Do you know which float they were on?

I was forced to watch the whole parade. Sadly, being older, I didn’t know any one of the singers except Miss Piggy and the old gent from San Francisco with her. I wouldn’t cross the street to listen to most of those groups or singers, but that Diamonti Electrico group was pretty damned good. The Muppet band and singers with their opening knockoff of Twist and Shout was the best part of the whole line of singers.

He said younger musicians.

Five Man Electrical Band?

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem?

Electric…? These guys…?

No, I was just catching glimpses during prepping the turkey and their sound made me stop to listen, but the graphic with their name disappeared just at the moment I turned to look at the TV, so I only caught an impression.
