What happened to my Big Bang Theory episodes?

After several months of not having my satellite hooked up, and watching episodes of TBBT online at cbs dot com, I finally broke down and restored service on December 15 so kaylasmom could record the Michael Buble Christmas special. The bright spot on this situation would be that, hey, I can record episodes of The Big Bang Theory and watch them on my regular TV for a change!

Except, I can’t find an episode for December 18. And the ones that got recorded on December 25 and January 1 are reruns from last season (with long-haired Penny, whom I love, but still, I HAVE already watched those).

So I just went back to the cbs dot com site, and they appear to have (on preview) clips from a NEW program that was aired on January 1.

What the hell?

I don’t have access to old tv listings, but generally, network TV doesn’t tend to put new episodes on at the end of December, because Christmas and all.

And, looking at the CBS press release schedule, there’s this:

Also, according to that, a new episode is on January 8, then repeats Jan 15 and 22.

Okay, thanks. I just went back to the network site, and saw that the preview for the new episode was posted on 01-01-15, not an episode that aired that day.

Wikipedia can generally be relied upon to have an updated list of all episodes of any show, complete with what date they first aired.
