The Big Bang has moved to Monday nights at 8:00, where tonight the Big Bang Question will be answered: Will Amy say yes or no?
Didn’t they already bang?
Thanks for the tipoff on the day change. I was just wondering when the first episode would be.
Sheldon will probably say something clumsy about why (Ramona Nowitzki) he resolved to propose, and piss Amy off and she’ll say no for now.
Yes, she’ll say yes, all the couples will be arranged and normal except for Raj, and we’ll have to put up with his self-pity for the rest of the series.
It is possible she won’t answer, or will answer something like “not yet”
Brian
Next episode is named Retraction Reaction, so it may not be Amy’s answer that’s the thing. The show will be back on Thursdays starting November 2.
I want to say that I enjoyed that episode and get that in before the 'jumped the shark" people.
So, for a first season episode it could’ve been worse. There were even a couple of laughs, thought it was mostly predictable. Especially the cameo.
???
Are you talking about BBT or Young Sheldon? Because BBT is in Season what, 11?
The Penny-Leonard second wedding premier episode has a lot of us TBBT fans jumpy. Even me, who is willing to give them every benefit of the doubt. Remember when Bernie hated children and only consented to marry Howard when he promised to do all the heavy lifting kidwise?
I think he meant the first episode of the season.
I enjoyed this episode. Penny with the cake was quite funny. I know I laughed a few more times too. All in all, a promising start.
Even the canned laughter was weak. Story was okay, but the jokes were limp.
In fact, to analyse the comedy, it felt like there were missed opportunities to add zingers to the jokes giving an extra punch.
I’m glad they didn’t have her say no or break up after he acted like an ass. They could have gone full Ross and Rachel but thankfully they didn’t. Even Stuart had a good line- (paraphrasing) Raj: what do you have for someone alone and bitter? Stuart: Literally, everything in the store.
I found Howard’s reaction to be a little odd. He was overjoyed to become the father of one but hates the idea of being the father of two?
I imagine anyone having a child when they still have an infant would freak out. It’s a lot to deal with.
Next week’s “retraction” may have something to do with their work. The teaser seems to indicate something happened with their research.
They REALLY need to do something with Raj. This fifth wheel act is getting tiresome. I’m glad to see Sheldon continuing to grow as a person and not be so selfish.
Best line:
Sheldon:Those people were in the presence of a world-class mind, and all they wanted to talk about was their own nonsense.
Stephen Hawking: Can you see the irony in that statement? How about now? How about now? I’ll wait.
And I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, particularly the ending.
The proposal went off too easily. Of course Amy was going to say yes, there have to be some complications along the way.
Another baby? What are they complaining about, the first one’s been no trouble at all for them.
Raj is just a drag, there are too many subplots, get rid of Stuart too.
Obviously Howard thought fatherhood would be a great experience, and he could make up for his own father’s deficiencies and abandonment. However, reality often collides with reality, and Howard now knows what parenting really entails.
I think the reason that Bernie and Howard are having another baby is because Melissa Rauch is pregnant in real life.
Stuart’s line was hilarious! Loved it!
