Has anyone heard from Quasimodem lately?
That is incredible - I was just thinking about Quasi last night and wondering the same thing. His name must have been in the ether or something. Hope he’s okay.
A search shows that although he last posted in September, he signed in as recently as 12/29/13, only four days ago, so apparently he’s still reading the Dope. Maybe he’ll see this and pop in and say, “hi.” Happy New Year, Quasi, if you’re out there.

I recall that Quasi was getting pretty wary about actively posting due to his dementia and announced that he would be stepping away from doing so, but still reading to keep up on things.
Not sure what upset him but something did. It’s hard to tell what that was or where it came from exactly – Quasi does have issues.
I think most people understand what’s going on with him and treat him with sensitivity and compassion. That would be my way to go, too.
I’m fine, thanks for asking. And yeah, I do check in from time to time in the Game Room only. I spend my time playing WoW, writing my blog and writing/making music.
