Well, they better not kill him. I’d like to see both of them in other things, but it’ll be hard to fill their shoes, especially Abby’s.
Did you notice how Hope (was it Hope?) called Abby and Luka “Luby” last week?

All the power couples get joined and melded these days…
That scene at the end with Neela being trampled is stuck on replay in my brain, sadly.
I swear, I shouted out, “WHAT THE F**K!?” when I saw the Ray scene at the hospital where it was revealed he’d lost his legs. (Good thing I was watching at midnight, when everyone was asleep - on my DVR.
)
The last time I shouted that in genuine astonishment during “ER” was when Romano got his arm cut off by the chopper. Yikes.
Damn their creative editing on the damned teasers for the next show. Didn’t play out (well, of course) the way it was insinuated on the teasers last week. The Ray/Neela conflict is getting a little frustrating and tiresome. It would be utterly unsatisfying for it to just abruptly stop like this, with no resolution for them.
The scene where she’s getting trampled by the stampede of people gave me chills at the end there.
The terror alert foreshadowing was a bluff, I think, and we were being led to expect and fear a problem with Luka’s international flight, what with the terror alert being elevated, but surprise! Come to find out, as Neela probably has, the terror is right there at home.
My DVR cut off, so I didn’t see any teasers for next week. Any spoilers/teasers for next week?
That was it 'til next season… frustrating, huh?
The shocking reveal that Ray lost his legs nearly took my breath away, I was so unprepared for that and it felt like a suckerpunch. I started getting all verklempt and had to remind myself that it’s just a silly show, after all.
However, Neela getting trampled? Sorry, but I giggled. She got knocked down and couldn’t even ball herself up or anything, yet Gates is standing against the tide on his own two feet with no problem. And it was supposed to be a frickin peace rally, somehow that slayed me.
I guess I can identify with being hit by a bus, not that I stop and puzzle over my phone drunkenly in the middle of busy city streets, more than I can imagine myself being trampled in a crowd. I’m more the type that my weaker friends hold onto in concert crowds or whatever, so somehow Neela’s situation was just unreal for me.
