I was purusing Bear’s ‘Lolita’ post and was very surprised to see a post I did not make. How is this possible? Is there another warmgun?

Could it have been an accident? Maybe you meant to post a reply to that thread, but changed your mind at the last minute?
Where do you post from-- work or home? Are you on a network at either location?
It could be a bug, but there are other possibilities to eliminate first.

Sounds like you just had more than one window open and then hit a couple of wrong keys. I’ve done that myself, quoting or posting on the wrong window, hence the wrong thread.
Since the first post appeared only five minutes before your denial, and it was a quote with no other text, it had to be related to you, rather than someone else.
