They’re not overlooking it, they’re ignoring it, so they can weave a narrative.

Yeah, basically Biden is president so everything is his fault. Of course it’s not, but most voters don’t care whose fault it is – Democrats are in office and their lives haven’t changed so why should they vote for Democrats again? Because Dems have kept democracy alive? That’s nice, but very much secondary when you’re struggling to pay rent & eat.

Over 60% of Americans polled said they were doing better personally this year over last. Less than 40% said that the country was moving in the right direction.
Somehow that translates into Republicans being favored. I must be a fucking idiot because I don’t get it.
