Same thing happened to me the last time I even thought about watching The Price Is Right. It’s Bob Barker-itis allergy, or something like that.

I am really glad I read this thread. I’ve always been a little bit mouth obsessed - even now I will suck on pen caps and such - and when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old I absent-mindedly gave myself a big hickey on my shoulder while watching tv. My older sister shrieked in laughter and ran out of the house to tell the other neighborhood kids.
I stormed out of the house and headed down the street to put some distance between me and my tormentors. My sister thought I was “running away from home” (my God, 7-year-olds don’t do that!) and she told the neighborhood kids that she would personally kill them if they made fun of me. Then she came after me and appologized. The other kids never mentioned it again.
Looking back, I guess she kinda went above and beyond the call of duty … I don’t know if I would have been that mature. Gee, after almost 40 years, I have new respect for my mean older sister.
Cervaise, this proved to be one of the more amusing ways to find out that I had assumed your gender incorrectly.
I was in the midst of picturing a female Cervaise flipping the remote, before my mental picture took a surreal turn due to you growing nuts.
Once or twice when I was REALLY small (but can still remember) I sucked on my arm for a while… a large red mark turned up.
I have my own interesting story, but I cant see any button marked “post new thread”… where is it?

Heh - my uncle did that too - and couldn’t have centered his forehead hickey any better than if he’d gotten out a ruler!
