I didn’t go there, but I lived in Durango for a few years. While I lived there I had a few school-related events that took place there. Didja know Mike Judge’s (of Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill) dad is a prof there? They call him Professor Butthead.

No! What’s his name? And what does he teach? Maybe I had him for something. It’s a small college.

When did you live in Durango? I was there 7 years.

Hey, you’re not the guy who just opened the Unfortunate Sausage in Pagosa, are you? If so, I know you.

Goshen High School, Goshen IN 1979

Purdue University. West Lafayette IN
Goshen College, Goshen IN
Tri-State University, Angola IN 1984

Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis IN 2005

I don’t remember his name, but IIRC he was a history prof. I lived there from 1991-1995 (from ages 10-14).

Nope, not me. I’m back in my hometown in California. Although opening a restaurant (I’m guessing) in Pagosa sounds like a lovely vocation.

Hey, so we even were there at the same time!

Let’s see if we had anything else in common: I lived in Tower B the first year, then drew a bad number in the housing lottery and moved to an apartment in Shadyside. I was studying linguistics with a psych minor, working at Roy Rogers Tuck Shop in the Cathedral, and volunteering as a guide for the Nationality Rooms Program (Quo Vadis).

We were there at the same time. I was in Durango from 1992 to 1999. I miss it. We may have had lunch at Farquahrt’s together and not even known it.

I stand corrected, there are 3 of us who are admitting to being schooled in Michigan. I even stared at your post on first reading it trying to figure out where those places might be and had no clue. As you can see, that cluelessness had spread farther than I expected.

A few of each, for me…

And I now work for the University of Pittsburgh here in Prague.
