What is a K**B?

There’e an article in the Daily Mail about a bank employee referring to a customer as a “K**B”. I can’t find anything on-line in The Urban Dictionary and I can’t think of anything (other than KRAB)! What is it?

Thanks.

Knob?

In some contexts, it is a synonyphemism for dick, so maybe that’s why they felt obliged to censor it.

Knob - meaning the head of a penis

The term is uncensored in other reports.

Knob is a quite common term of abuse, akin to calling someone a prick, although perhaps a bit softer (!) than that.

Also used as a general synonym for that part of the anatomy, as in the popular genre of British humour, the knob gag.

:smack: I should have looked first in a British Slang Dictionary.

Thanks

Now that the British slang version has been established, here are some possibilities for K**B if it appeared in your basic American document with no obvious context in which to place it:

Knee in the (to the) Balls
Knife in the Back
Korean in the Backfield
Koala in the Bestiary
Kardashian in the Boudoir
Kids on the Block

Knowing this crowd, I suspect there may be other possibilities…

Just as long as there’s no 14s involved!
(Would you believe that I could not find that thread in an avanced search to get the exact wording and make a better joke?)
(You know, "14 k of gfb in a …)

Semprini.

You will probably find more than you want at this post.

Out!

Cut to…

A LESS NAUGHTY THREAD

Zeldar! My god! I had no idea that had finally been solved! Thank you for the heads-up.
Wow. I am for sure going to sleep better tonight.

Is “knob” not used in American slang?

I used to drive past some graffito where someone had spray-painted “JIMMY IS A NOBED”

It was only when I said it out loud, asking someone what it meant, that I realised. I guess that spelling is not a requirement for a graffiti artist.

I have heard it before in American slang, and it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the OP, but dictionary.com has it listed as a British thinghttp://dictionary.reference.com/browse/knob?s=t&path=/.

I have lots of friends that watch BBC America, as do I, so we may be corrupted.

No, except perhaps by a small number of Anglophiles.

Interesting - it’s fairly common in Canada, in my experience.

K**B is knob.

I remember seeing a British porn magazine with the words “knob gobblers” on the cover, talking about fellatio. The only time I’ve ever heard an American use the word “knob” as a euphemism for penis is when they were being whimsical or trying to sound British. Same goes for “bollocks”, BTW, British slang for testicles.

“Polishing his knob” is another way of saying fellatio. Or used to be.

Extremely common. I assumed it was used throughout the English-speaking world.
