What is gas going for in your hometown?

$2.61/gal in SW Oklahoma. I feel so lucky.

I’ve seen $3.50/gal in L.A. but most places are more around $3.10-$3.20/gal right now.

Regular was 2.76 here in Memphis yesterday. Could be higher today though the way things are going.

Central Jersey checking in here. Earlier today, regular unleaded was going for $2.59. Does this mean I have to stop complaining about high gas prices?

$2.85 for 89 octane when I filled up this morning.

You may find this interesting:

The Conoco in Louisville, Colorado (just outside Boulder), was $2.69 a gallon today. It cost me $35 to fill my tank.

Sheesh. Those lying, cheating bastards.

Anywhere between $2.66 (If you or an immediate relative is in the military) and $3.09.

I just saw a Yahoo headline that says gas will go up another 11% over the summer here in the US. :smack:

The implications are widespread, including school budgets! I know in our hometown, bus costs are one of the biggest single line item on the budget, along with salaries.
Our school budget doesn’t have a nickle to spare…

2.69 right now in north arkansas

$2.69 in my small West Texas town yesterday. Thank goodness that I drive a 4cyl Ford Ranger pickup.

Lowest in Clearwater, FL is $2.78/gal

Here in Youngstown, Ohio, it is $2.79 to $2.99 a gallon. Last week, it was $2.45 to $2.65 a gallon at the gas station where I work.

AUD$1.15/litre here in South-East Queensland at the moment for standard 91 Octane, and about AUD$1.30/litre for the Premium (98 Octane) stuff.

LPG is about AUD$0.67c/litre, and Diesel is about AUD$1.41/litre.

It’s not too bad if you’ve got a reasonably fuel efficient car, but people with V6s, V8s, and 4WDs are really getting hit in the pocket at the moment…

Of course, it’s not just the people driving cars who are being hit.

It also means that people aren’t doing the trips (as Loaded mentioned in a previous post). I was chatting to a bloke in Pooncarie the other day (a town in the middle of nowhere on the way to the arse-end of nowhere) and he commented that normally at this time of year there would have been at least twenty tourist cars through the town by lunchtime. He hadn’t seen one. :frowning:

Australia is a big country, and most people thought nought about driving hundreds or even a couple of thousand km for a holiday jaunt in the past. Now though, when the cost of fuel exceeds your accomodation expenses many-fold, is it any wonder that people are staying closer to home…and the little towns suffer.

Oh, here in Melbourne (and within 100km) the price is around $1.28 (AUD) per litre.

With the conversion, it’s $3.80 or so a gallon. Southern B.C.

As of this morning…$2.91/Gal

I drove around town for a few minutes last night, looking for the cheapest station. The best price was $2.91. I also saw $2.97 and $2.99.

Best price I’ve found is $2.75/gal.

I loooooove my Honda Civic… You Hummer drivers that are paying $60 or more to fill up- yeah, I’m laughing at you :stuck_out_tongue:

http://www.baltimoregasprices.com/ says that I can find it for average $2.75 - and I just filled up for $2.73 two days ago on Eastern Avenue near Johns Hopkins Bayview.

I filled up on my way to work today for $2.77/gallon. On my way home 3 hours later, the same station was at $2.85/gallon.

It is getting UGLY.
