So about 6 months ago I ran into one of my ex girlfriends from college. We had been out of communication for 4 ish years minus the exchange of the annual happy birthday kind of texts. And well, I asked her if she wanted to go out sometime and catch up. She responded enthusiastically and we made plans for the following weekend.
About 3 hours before she was to arrive at my place she texts me asking if her girl friend could join us. What else am I to say but “yeah sure no problem”. Now this made me realize she was setting up a barrier between us. So I settled myself on going out with the two of them as friends and correspondingly worked my normal bar game getting down a few numbers while hanging out with them.
End of the night comes and my ex girlfriend and her friend both come back my place to crash for the night. I live in a studio apartment so the three of us all were in the same bed. And what happens, my ex girlfriend starts initiating stuff under the covers. Now this is all well and good but 2nd base is just a hardcore tease for me. Anything more with her friend sleeping right there is sort of difficult…
A few days later I get some solid sexting action happening, thus things look like they are going well for a later date we can finish where we started. However, every time I tried to lock down a firm hang out it was a no go timeframe for her. So I settled on the fact she was playing me.
Fast forward 6 months to a week ago. I was bored and hit her up for a hang out. And again she asked if her friend could join…Face palm…but I rolled with it. And before you know it, repeat of scenario one.
So either she likes the thrill of her friend right there or honestly thinks her friend being there will help limit her actions. Now I would ask her straight up what’s going on but putting a label on what she is doing might kill whatever odd thrill she is getting out of it to begin with…
Any opions on what she is playing at? Or perhaps tips for ditching this plus one she seems inseparable from? Also, what do I do now to actually lock something down that is not 6 months from now?
At the risk of seeming facetious, I think a case can be made for “Silly buggers” as being a direct answer to the thread title and the thrust of the OP’s post.

The only way to save yourself at this point is to find out when the Bloodmoon will reveal the true name of the Paragon. Try dropping the following terms into conversation: Soultrace, Roadfear, and Primrose. If you repeat these words frequently enough, they’ll feel compelled to chant in unison: “The Paragon will trace the arc of the holy Bloodmoon in X tsargl”.
A tsargl is a unit of time roughly 2.3 days long, but can be longer or shorter depending on the moods of the Six Firemonks of Untold Destinies. So, when you get the number X from them, you need to call each of the Firemonks and find out what their moods are. It shouldn’t be too hard, they’re in the phone book.
After that, all you really need to do is travel to the Gates of Terror on the Plain of Devastation and set the Stone of Horrors into the Holder of the Light, and then log into the Jira of Nightmares and file a new subtask on the Issue of Enlightenment [ENL-5823]. Make sure it’s marked for sprint 3.
