Read Gavin de Becker’s book The Gift of Fear. He describes different kinds of stalkers and the best responses based on the situation in question.
There’s a guy that constantly checks the sites I’m on and it been getting really annoying lately to the point I rarely log on anymore because of it…I don’t mind if he’s reading my stuff if he was in my best interest, but he’s not and that what annoys me…so maybe I should quit those sites cold turkey:confused:?

When you say he’s checking your sites, do you mean that he’s physically getting on your physical computer to check your browsing history?
Nah,from his computer & we’ve never met and that what makes this sooo creepy…
But it’s my fault though for being so candid and naive on the net, that’s what I get, lesson learned.

I have. The solution I found is to make friends with them and then they are a friend that is interested in your life rather than a stalker. Three of my four stalkers are now best friends of mine.

Stalk (or lurk) him right back. The world is made up of two types, the victim and the perpetrator, and you don’t want to be the victim. See if you can creep him right out.
