There is a commercial for GE (on NBC) that talks about ecomagination. At the end of the spot is a rush of screens that I can not read. I figure it is specifically made for people with TIVO.
It was just on right before the end of 3/3’s Last Call. (That is at 2am on 3/3).
I think it is a storybook type format. from what I can discern.
Is it one of these from the GE website? None of the current ads there (“Frog,” “Fishing,” and “Jar”) seems to match your description very closely, but you might want to watch that space for updates.
The GE web site has the commercials themselves, but the “rush of screens” follows the commercials proper and is specifically made for DVR owners. GE calls it One Second Theater.
The one you mention is at the end of the “Frog” spot (which depicts a frog jumping through various GE-built facilities). The bonus content (which appears on the link Quixotic posted) has the story of The Frog Prince retold from the frog’s point of view.
My personal favorite was at the end of a commercial for GE’s trains which run on cleaner fuel- the ad depicts a bunch of old-timey folks watching a locomotive make its first run…and get their faces covered in soot. The One-Second theater featured a “where are they now” segment with all of the characters- dead. What do you expect? It was 1876.
