What is your favorite series of Geico commercials?

Geiico currently has four different type of commercials running. Which is your favoirte?

More like “least unfavorite.” Since the cavemen hate Geico just as much as I do, I went with them.

I voted for the cavemen but I would still go with the Flo.

I liked the first few Caveman commercials (“I’ll have the roasted duck with mango chutney”) but they’ve run out of steam. I think the gecko radio commercials are actually better than the TV commercials (although some of them are amusing: “He ate all my mints!”).

Hate the googly-eyes. Deadpan guy is okay I guess.

The Caveman ones grew old fast. The original – with the caveman as part of the production crew – was funny, but even the mango chutney one was weaker. The googly money are completely unimpressive, though the Gecko still manages to be OK. The new guy is good primarily because he’s new. The future will depend on how they create variations on the theme.

My favorite commercial was unrelated to any of these - it was the faux reality show “Tiny House” where a couple had to live in a house that was built for people 2/3rd’s their size.

Right!

I have to vote for Mr. Deadpan Guy (Mike McGlone). Not because of him, specifically, but because of the two with Charlie Daniels and Elmer Fudd. I even made a thread about them a couple of weeks ago. Although, like Skammer, I like the one with the dragon lizard playing the temp.

I’m a pothole. Not a series. Yet.

Oh nooooo! Your tire’s all flat and junk.

I agree with this one. I probably would have watched that show, especially because the wife was hot.

I beg to differ. I saw these three before the talking pothole ad.

Talking pipes

Fender bender

Tree limb

Hate Google-eyed money. Cavemen may have run out of steam, but I voted for them for fond memories of when they were at the peak, before some genius greenlighted a sitcom. “Deadpan guy” doesn’t even ring a bell. The talking lizard never really did anything for me.

I guess they don’t do the celebrity interpreter anymore? I liked those.

I’m guessing “Mr. Deadpan Guy” is the campaign officially called “Rhetorical Questions” (“Can Geico save you money on your car insurance? Does Elmer Fudd have trouble pronouncing the letter R?”), so that gets my vote.

The best Cavemen commercial was the one where the guy’s on the mocving walkway in teh airport, but they’re all pretty spectacular.

Another vote for “Tiny House”. I can’t even remember any of the other fake-commercials in that series but Tiny House rocked.

I hate them, I want Safe Auto’s Justin Case and Flo from Progressive auto to go on a date together. And I want the waiter serve them that gecko with the WRONG accent to them.

Just spotted:

10 lb. bag of flour.

I like the Cavemen ads. I’m probably in the minority when I say this but they should have kept the sitcom going, it was kind of funny!

That was so awesome.

And the correct accent for a talking lizard would be… ?
