What is the record for zombie resurrections?

Inspired by this thread:

does anyone know what the record is for a single thread being called back from the dead? I know a lot are well after the last post (say a gap of 15 years or more) but have any crawled their way back to the surface 10 or more times? Do any of the Mods toss the lock on a thread because one happens to be an oft-repeated offender?

I think it might be this one.

I had a fit of insanity last time it popped up and actually catalogued it near the bottom. 43 bumps in total.

ETA: 44! It was bumped one more time after I catalogued the bumps.

I nominate Anybody Remember “Stewart Sandwiches”?
Looks like 25-30 (maybe more, I quit counting) resurrections. Some a few days or months apart but there’s a huge number of one-and-done posters.
Most spammed is probably the"protecting and cleaning your computer of malware" thread in GQ.

ETA:All that time counting-wasted!

Make that 45.

(Hey, somebody was going to do it!)

It was inevitable, I suppose.

The really wonderful thing about that thread is that the bumps are almost all in good faith. A lot of them are cute anecdotes or contributions of esoteric information about the sandwiches. Really cool.

That’s likely why is hasn’t been closed. Rather unique among zombie spawns.

I kinda wish people wouldnt post just to point out it is a zombie. Who really cares?

5 different people making their 1st, or 2nd post in that thread. Wonder if they thought there would be coupons for half off?

The thread on naked swimming in high school doesn’t come close in number of bumps (I count 14 bumps with at least a couple week break between), but seems odder to me. I can understand people remembering Stewart sandwiches and doing a search for them, then wanting to contribute their own anecdote. But what search terms are leading people to a thread about swimming naked? Why all the interest? (I mean, I can guess the reason, but I choose to ignore it.)

Usually I don’t call it a zombie until its been in the grave a month or so but that one is seriously impressive.

My favorite is The Alternate Ending to Big. It probably isn’t one of the leaders, but I did notice it had been bumped six times before I got to the bottom of the first page.
